UKpouchies at Bath Pet Shop

Hi everyone,

A date to add in your diary is 10th April 2010.
April is National Pet Month and the Bath Pet Shop is holding a number of events throughout the month dedicated to it.

UKpouchies will be down there on the 10th April giving advice about keeping Pouched rats. If anyone would like to come down and just say hi to us as well as meet Odo on the day then we look forward to seeing you there.

As well as that we will be promoting the HeroRat cause and you will have an opportunity to join the NPRS as well.

The day went well and everyone was on their best behaviour... so were the rats

We would like to thank Janine, Mike and Anny for inviting us along for the day and giving us an opportunity to talk about the rats.

odo looks huge he looks like he has different fur texture compared to queenie and pan there's looks shinner and like a grey brown to them.

I think the males fur is a little more courser than the females but Odo is still out of condition since loosing Zee

I'm sure Lesley won't mind me answering this.. There are plans for Odo to have a friend in the very near future.. He still has alot of life in him

Well where do i start with Bath.. Linz and i set off about half 8.. Pan was disgusted to be put in her carrier and spent the whole time chewing the bars individually. We parked up at 10.10am quite a distance from the pet shop with bar still peeved with being in her carrier and still chewing the bars.
We had to walk through town with Pan to get to the pet shop and the first set of people we walked passed Pan was greeted with a Urgggg!
At the pet shop we popped Pan in the cage ready an waiting for her but oh no Pan wanted out!!!
So Pan spent most of the day on mine or Linz's shoulder or running around on the floor on her harness.. Also may i add that it was the first time ever Pan had warn a harness!! She gave me a little shout of disapproval but that was it.. I was so proud of my little princess and her first public appeareance, she really wasn't phased by anything one or anything BAR great grandfather Odo.. When meeting Odo Pan screamed and ran..........
