Goodbye Tora Bell

Sadly on July 13th 2018 we had to say goodbye to our very own Tora Bell after becoming unwell at the age of 7 years old.

Tora became the new face of UKpouchies taking over from Nerys in 2011, making numerous public appearances at pet shows across the UK as well as on TV and school educational visits. She was well loved by anyone who met her and will be truly missed by all especially  Coral who took on caring for her after Lesley had to leave her behind in the UK to move to the USA with her family.

APOPO’s Bart Weetjens Meets Tora

On April 12th UKpouchies very own Tora had the opportunity with her carer Coral to meet APOPO’s founder Bart Weetjens at the prestigious Skoll conference held in Oxford.

Needless to say Tora was on her best behaviour and won over anyone who met her and enjoyed cuddles from Bart Weetjens himself.
